Sim-Stream 8.0 Introduction

The objective of the course is to introduce the participants to the new software version as a companion to the MesoHABSIM technique of instream habitat modeling.

The first day of the course will explore habitat modeling theory and MesoHABSIM’s place within this context. The second day will involve a hands-on lab where participants will use provided test data to explore the functionality and produce the outputs associated with our latest version of Sim-Stream software. This course is designed for researchers, fisheries professionals, students and managers who want to learn about the MesoHABSIM technique, data collection, associated software and output interpretation.
